Members of the Authority

Bishop Carlyle Chankersingh
Member

A Doctor of Theology and Divinity who founded Faith Centre Churches in San Fernando, Arima and Port-of-Spain.

Member of the Authority from its inception in1996. Bishop Chankersingh is also a member of the Firearms Appeal Board.

Mr. Elton Prescott
Member

Mr. Prescott is a senior legal partner in private practice for the past twenty-eight (28) years. He is a member of the Association of Business Executives, Honorary General Secretary of the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Standing Tripartite Committee on Labour Matters.

Mr. Prescott has served as a member of the Authority with effect from March,1, 1996.

Mr. Louis Bryan
Member

Former Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister and later in the Ministry of Social Development. He retired in 1996 after forty-two (42) years in the Public Service, the greater part of which was in middle and senior management positions at the Service Commissions Department.

Mr. Bryan has served on several prestigious Boards/Committees including, at the International level, on the Steering Committee overseeing the Social Network of Latin America and the Caribbean – an Organisation of American States Project.

His tenure as a member of the Authority commenced on July 02, 1998. He also currently holds office as Chairman, Statutory Authorities Service Commission.

Mrs. Kathleen Boswell Inniss
Member

Mrs. Boswell Inniss is a former Secretary to Cabinet and Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister. She is the recipient of the Chaconia Medal (Gold) 1989 in recognition of long and meritorious service to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the sphere of Public Service. She is also a member of the Statutory Authorities Service Commission and the Moderator of the Committee to hold Round Table Discussions on Race Relations.

Mrs. Boswell Inniss who was a member of the Police Complaints Authority from 1996 to 1998, rejoined the Authority on May 16, 2003.
