The Firearms Appeal Board

The Board's purpose is to hear and determine appeals from the decision of the Commissioner of Police under sections 17 &21 of the Firearms Act, Chap. 16:01(section 7 of Act 22 of 1995).

A person aggrieved (dissatisfied) by the decision of the Commissioner of Police not to grant him/her a firearm licence, certificate or permit, or to revoke (cancel) it, may appeal to the Firearms Appeal Board to review the decision.
